The Process
The Entrepreneur/SME initially registers on the Central England Business Angels webste and submits a business plan. Every plan is reviewed by the Principals of Central England Business Angels and a report delivered highlighting the investable attraction of the plan and any areas of risk which might require mitigation. This single report can save SME's both time and frustration in the search for funding. Our response may not always be pleasant, but it will always be a point of reality.
An initial meeting with qualifing SME's and Central England Business Angels will be scheduled to discuss the plan, its review report and to agree upon the suitability for Angel funding. During this meeting, other funding possibilities will be discussed.
Should the opportunity be deemed acceptable for presentation to the Central England Business Angels registered investors, selected promotion to that register will be agreed.
Preparation of a powerpoint presentation (with commentary), including coaching and assistance in the method of presentation to investors, this being one of a presentation event, a 1-2-1 introduction or electronic marketing.
Central England Business Angels can prepare an "Investor Information Pack", which will include information relevant for inspection by investors, such as valuation, exit strategy, EIS Advanced Assurance, business plan, marketing plan, warranty questionnaire, etc. Much of the preparatory documentation can be obtained from Central England Business Angels upon request.
Agreeing any post funding support in readiness for investment. Post funding information being available to investors is very important.
