In today's market the process can take up to 6 very intense months. Working with investors is not unlike herding cats, they work at their own speed and know exactly what they want to see from a potential investee. The Angel market is extremely robust right now, and Investors are at their maximum capacity in due diligence processes. With this in mind, the more prepared the company is prior to approching the market the greater chance of attracting interest.The team at CEBA has 30 years experience dealing with Investors and arranging deals. The funding market is VERY small. Investors "float" between Business Angel Networks in their search for the next Microsoft. The SME can expect some duplication of Angels at any presentation event. If the SME's presentation is poor, word spreads rapidly and often results in the SME losing time and credence within the funding community.

- Apply to HM Revenue and Customs for EIS Advanced Assurance
- Oversee the application for EIS tax relief post funding agreement

The "easier" the process for the Investors the greater opportunity the SME will have to achieve a funding. Investors are currently at their maximum capacity to reveiw plans and to conduct Due Diligence. By providing them with detailed information in advance will increase the interest level and decrease the time necessary for completion.
