A positive entrance into 2012!
We are excited about 2012 and are having a fantastic run into this new year! Over the last three years CEBA has achieved investment into 25 companies for a total exclusive Angel investment of £2.45M. With four deals in the completion stage right now we expect to be able to announce an impressive gain in investments soon. What does this mean for Angels and SME's? First, it demonstrates that our policy on company selection and our astute vetting process is proving effective in delivering the higest quality opportunities to our Angels. Second, that our Angels trust our experience in what makes a "good deal" and respond accordingly. If you are interested in either investing or investment do please contaxt us.

Happy Holidays
May you have a wonderful, relaxing, warm, and pleasant Holiday. As we come to the end of this year it is always a time of reflection. We are very pleased with the outcome of 2011. Though the press has been harsh, our Angels have been very active and our completion rate has been impressive. Our Henley Syndicate has gone from strenght to strength, heading into this new year with a number of opportunities under investigation. The companies we have been fortunate to work with over this last year have been of the highest calibre and we have been proud to represent each and every one. Funding activity
My respect for our CEBA Angels increases daily! When it would appear that there is no money available for early growth companies, our Angels are stepping up and meeting the funding needs required to get these companies up and running. It isn't an easy ride for the companies, Angels are strict with Due Diligence, but they are actively exploring new opporunities with the willingness to support with both money and wisdom. CEBA is a bespoke Angel network offering personal and hands on involvement with both our companies and our Angels. A DEAL will only work if both sides of the equation are comfortable with the "marriage". It is our job to make sure this happens. Expanding Angel Investment Capacity
The funding market is definitely on the side of the Angels right now, with Angels at maximum capacity sorting through the volume of proposals sitting on their desks. The opportunities are varied and attractive. However, there is a limit to the amount of money Angels can invest across multiple companies. With this in mind, CEBA is pleased to present two new investment vehicles designed to stretch the investment Pound of the Angels. On 16th November we will be introducing the new SOCIAL IMPACT CO-INVESTMENT FUND, plus the new MERCIA GROWTH EIS FUND. In order to assist Angels to spend their funds we will also be presenting 4 companies seeking funding.
